VIMEO

Last minute unplanned trip with my friend Nick Eastside. After I lost my match at Pans, I just wanted to take somewhat a break so I grab my friend Eastside and took him with me to LA to train at Cobrinha’s Gym. Big thank you to my friend Aaron, took a complete stranger into his home and gave us a place to sleep! That just show you how awesome BJJ’ers are!

Also big thanks to Bear (Shoyoroll) for letting us train at their gym Conde Koma also.

Enough talking, go watch the video. I just put the footage super quick, just a quick highlights of our 2 weeks trip.

I love Timelapse Cinematography.

Enjoy

Much love to Bear (Shoyoroll) for all the SWAG!
I will post more fotos of our two weeks trip of training at Cobrinha and Conde Koma.

Visiting The King

During the Pan Kids trip, we went down to LA a few days early so we could train at some of Gumby’s friends gym.

We visited Nino Schembri’s school, I didn’t know much about him. After doing research, the guy is a legend in our sports.

My Coach Gumby and Nino.

The Crew.

Thank you Nino for the hospitality, we will visit soon!

Here is Alyza’s match at the Pan Kids. Pan Kids is the biggest tourny for kids. No words to describe how proud we are for Alyza. She was so nervous that she was about to cry, but she went out there and did it!

Thanks to everyone at Heroes Martial Arts - Gumby her coach, and everyone else that came out and supported the kids.

Anonymous asked: where did want vs need go?

Sorry - It’ll be back up soon. Been busy training.

EXISTENCE

Throughout my life I’ve always been told I had a self egotism. Now that I’m a little older and wiser, looking back maybe I did. But thinking of all the things I have done in the past as either a hobby or career, I have always been self driven and prove things to anyone that doubts me. It might sounds insecurity but we all have that in ourselves but if we use it in a positive ways to make our lives better then why not?

Now I’m on a new journey, I’m 29 years young and here I am finding new things about myself and embracing it. Whether taken literally or figuratively, it’s important to “travel” to discover who you are.

Losing or winning its all part of the battle…

Anthony’s first Jiu-Jitsu competition and this was his first match. There are no words to describe how I felt when he step on that mat and winning his first match.

I never asked him if he wanted to compete but he kept telling us that he wanted to after he heard that Alyza was going to compete.

The night before all he wanted to drill was his armbars and take down, it paid off.
