Internet is fucking amazing, We’ve known each other on the internet for awhile, this dude Phi is a good friend of my good friends from the car scene and it just happen that he trains Jiu-Jitsu. He was up here in NorCAL the best CAL for some work and wanted to roll for a little bit.
He trains under Konde Coma / Check Mat BJJ in SoCAL. It’s always dope hearing and getting advice from a different camp and what their perspective are in Jiu-Jitsu. The whole time we were rolling, Phi was smiling ear to ear, this dude is all about having fun when rolling. Its a stress release for him.

On Tuesday, Phi came up from Socal and came over to roll around for a bit. I just met him that night but he was a chill ass guy. It’s always dope to meet cool ass people who have different perspectives on Jiu Jitsu. He rolled around with Al and Eastside for a bit and showed us some things he likes to do when trying to pass the guard. We got a little bonus that night as Gumby and Machine, the 2 blackbelts at our academy went at it for a full 10 min round. Some of these guys will be fighting this weekend in the US Open. Good Luck to them all.
